SURGICAL DRAPE

Whether a surgery is performed in a traditional operating room, an ambulatory
surgery center or a physicians office,you can be sure of one thing: one or more
surgical drapes will be used. And every drape used during that procedure will
address one or more of the six basic draping objectives or principles. Evergrand
offers many single-use, disposable surgical drapes to meet these principles:

1. Isolation

Isolating dirty, contaminated areas from clean areas.

2. Barrier

Preventing fluid penetration.

3. Sterile Field

Creating a sterile operative environment by aseptic application of

sterile materials.

4. Sterile Surface

Creating a sterile surface on the skin which acts as a barrier to prevent

skin flora from migrating to the incision site.

5. Fluid Control

Channeling and collecting body and irrigation fluids.

6. Equipment Draping

Allowing non-sterile equipment to be brought into the sterile field.
